The Bomag BM 1200-30 is a heavy-duty cold milling machine from 2024 with only 15 operating hours — essentially new. Available for immediate delivery, offered for sale EXW Germany.
Power comes from a Caterpillar C7.1 ACERT diesel engine displacing 7,000 cm³ and producing 205 kW (280 hp), meeting Euro 5 emission standards. The hydraulic all-track drive powers four crawler units (1,275 × 268 × 570 mm) for a maximum travel speed of 6.0 km/h. Hydraulic oil tank capacity is 130 l; water tank is 1,250 l.
The 1200-980-15 milling drum features a mechanical drive, a milling width of 1,200 mm and an infinitely variable cutting depth of 0–320 mm. Tool spacing is 15 mm with 115 cutting picks; drum diameter with tools is 980 mm. Milling travel speed reaches up to 28 m/min. The discharge conveyor is 600 mm wide. Grade control is handled by the Bomag Telematic levelling system, and camera monitoring is fitted as standard.
